Project Summary:

The organization ACDC is launching an activity within the Public Information and Awareness Services for Vulnerable Communities in Kosovo (PIAKOS) project to assess awareness levels regarding property registration and to engage with citizens on the mechanisms available to resolve and facilitate potential property issues in 27 municipalities of Kosovo.

Public Information and Awareness Services for Vunerable Communities in Kosovo (PIAKOS) is implemented by Advocacy Training and Resource Center (ATRC), Co-implemented by ACDC and financed by the World Bank/State and Peacebuilding Fund. The PIAKOS aims to address the critical need to improve access to information on land and property registration, as well as provide advisory services related to property rights for women, youth, and vulnerable persons in Kosovo. The project's activities will help improve socio-economic conditions for sustainable and peaceful development by assisting communities with the necessary documentation and legal support to strengthen land/property rights security, offering an opportunity for their participation in the broader economy and laying the foundations for a more equitable society.

NGO ACDC seeks motivated, paid volunteers to help us implement this important project. We are committed to raising awareness and empowering communities regarding the importance of property registration. We invite you to join us in contributing to this initiative, which aims to improve community access and knowledge of property rights in Kosovo.

Volunteer Role:

Volunteers will conduct door-to-door campaigns in specific regions to survey citizens about their awareness of property registration and the mechanisms available to resolve and facilitate potential property issues. Each volunteer will visit four houses a day, engaging residents to equip them with valuable knowledge.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct door-to-door visits in the regions designated by the project.
  • Administer questionnaires to assess awareness levels.
  • Collect, compile, and accurately record survey data.
  • Report findings to project coordinators.

Requirements:

  • Must be a current law student or recent law graduate or have work experience in the legal field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and responsibly.
  • Commitment to raising awareness and empowering communities regarding property registration and dispute resolution.
  • Commitment to promoting community well-being and empowerment.
