Assistance to the integrated judicial institutions in northern Kosovo

NGO Advocacy Center for Democratic Culture commences the implementation of the project ''Improving the performance of the judiciary and prosecution and the access to justice in Kosovo - Assistance to the integrated judicial institutions in northern Kosovo'', supported by UNMIK.

NGO Advocacy Center for Democratic Culture commences the implementation of the project “Improving the performance of the judiciary and prosecution and the access to justice in Kosovo - Assistance to the integrated judicial institutions in northern Kosovo”, supported by UNMIK.

The overall objective of the project is to improve the administration of justice in northern Kosovo.

The project is composed of two components: Component 1 includes the support to the Basic Court of Mitrovica to clear the case backlog through contracting 3 Legal Associates and 10 translators; while Component 2 includes targeted training for young lawyers and legal interns from northern Kosovo, which will lead to the creation of the Legal Training Center.

The project started on 07.10.2019 until 30.04.2020.
