Promoting human rights and non-discrimination principles at the local level

NGO ACDC is pleased to announce a new project aimed at mobilizing all stakeholders and creating synergy for the improvement of response to the discrimination in northern Kosovo.

The overall objective of the project is to raise public awareness on (non)discrimination and to foster institutional response to discrimination through mobilizing all competent institutions and through training empowerment of municipal officers in North Mitrovica.

Project is founded by Council of Europe Office in Pristina.

The specific objectives are the following:

SO1: The identify the public perception on discrimination in North Mitrovica

SO2: To raise public awareness on discrimination and available mechanisms

SO3: To increase capacities of local self-government to prevent and respond to discrimination

SO4: To create synergy among all relevant stakeholders in northern Kosovo.

  • Activity 4: Training seminars with municipal officers
