Strengthening thr Rule of Law in Northern Kosovo through Education and Cooperation of Law Students



Strengthening the rule of law trough education and cooperation of students from the faculty of Law is implemented by ACDC. This project is supported by British Embassy in Pristina. The project includes 20 students from faculty of Law and young lawyers.

"Strengthening the Rule of Law trough Education and Cooperation of Law Students" is project implemented by NGO ACDC. This project is supported by British Embassy in Pristina. The project includes 20 students from faculty of Law and young lawyers.

The overall objective of the project is to build capacities for the development of an efficient system of rule of law in North Kosovo. By acquiring practical knowledge and skills, law students will be trained to engage in the legal practice in Kosovo, while the study visits and round tables will enhance the knowledge about the justice system in Kosovo and raise awareness of the importance of the existence of an efficient rule of law system

The project is implemented in cooperation with lawyers coming from North Mitrovica and professors from the Faculty of Law and includes following topics:

  • Legal writing
  • Training on case management
  • Training on legal ethics
  • Trainings on case studies from Kosovo court`s practice
  • Joint seminars and workshops of Albanian and Serbian students related to fight against corruption.

The project is implemented in a period of 1st of May 2014, till 1st of December 2014.
