During January and February 2026, NGO ACDC organized a series of educational trainings for young people from four northern municipalities of Kosovo: North Mitrovica, Zvečan, Zubin Potok, and Leposavić.
The trainings were implemented within the awareness-raising campaign “Register Your Property!”, with the aim of improving the level of information among final-year high school students from northern Kosovo regarding property and social rights, as well as the importance of timely property registration.
The activities focused on explaining key concepts related to inheritance, legalization, and property registration, as well as on informing participants about the rights and obligations young people acquire upon reaching adulthood. Through structured presentations, interactive discussions, and Q&A sessions, participants had the opportunity to receive practical information and answers to concrete questions arising from the local context.
During the trainings, tailored informational materials were distributed to enable participants to further inform themselves after the completion of the sessions.
These activities are part of the project “Youth for Property and Social Rights,” which aims to strengthen the capacities of youth from non-majority communities to understand and exercise property and social rights, while also fostering trust between citizens and institutions. The project was implemented with the support of ATRC within the framework of the PIAKOS program.
