The final event of the “Green Neighbors” project marked the completion of a year-long initiative that brought together young people from the Serbian and Albanian communities in North and South Mitrovica, with the aim of promoting environmental protection, interethnic cooperation, and active youth participation in local communities.

The event highlighted the project's key results, implemented activities, and the contributions of young people who worked together over the past months to create a cleaner, greener, and better-maintained environment.

Throughout the project, joint clean-up activities were organized, Green Corners were established and improved in North and South Mitrovica, an environmental awareness campaign was implemented, and the “Green Neighbors Talks” series addressed topics related to ecology, youth activism, and cooperation between communities.

The “Green Neighbors” project was jointly implemented by Education Code and the Advocacy Center for Democratic Culture (ACDC), within the framework of the BOOST programme, with the support of ALDA and AFD.
