Conference/Training “UN Human Rights Mechanisms and the Role of the Ombudsperson” 10th of December 2021. 10:00 - 13:30
NGO Advocacy Center for Democratic Culture cordially invites you to participate in the conference/training session entitled „UN Human Rights Mechanisms and the Role of the Ombudsperson”. The panelists will be Ljubiša Baščarević, human rights expert, and Marija Radulović, Deputy Ombudsperson.
NGO Advocacy Center for Democratic Culture cordially invites you to participate in the conference/training session entitled „UN Human Rights Mechanisms and the Role of the Ombudsperson”. The panelists will be Ljubiša Baščarević, human rights expert, and Marija Radulović, Deputy Ombudsperson.
Mr. Bascarevic will introduce the participants to UN Human Rights mechanisms, while Ms. Radulovic will speak about the role of the Ombudsperson of Kosovo.
The practical side of the training will include separate group discussions and presentations by the participants on topics of :
- Human rights challenges, violations and real-life experiences in Kosovo and
- Recommendations for the work and the visibility of the Ombudsperson Institution of Kosovo
The conference/training will be attended by graduate students, lawyers, civil society activists, as well as representatives of international organizations.
