On March 20, a meeting was held at the premises of the NGO ACDC in North Mitrovica between the Director of the Office for Good Governance, Habit Hajredini, and representatives of the civil sector and international organizations.
This meeting, the third in a series following those in Štrpce/Shtërpcë and Gračanica/Graçanicë, aimed to strengthen cooperation among key actors in the public policy-making process.
The director of the non-governmental organization ACDC, Dušan Radaković took the opportunity at the opening to present the main features of the platform that promotes transparency in decision-making, encourages the inclusion of civil society, and strengthens the accountability of public institutions to citizens.
The Director of the Office for Good Governance, Habit Hajredini, provided a detailed explanation of the registration process on the platform and highlighted its main objectives. According to him, the platform aims to facilitate the process of public consultations, improve communication between government bodies and stakeholders, and provide accessible tools for participation in policy creation. This platform contributes to greater efficiency in the work of institutions and provides citizens with the opportunity to be active participants in the decision-making process.
The event also introduced another platform from the Office for Good Governance, which focuses on the financing of non-governmental organizations. This platform aims to improve transparency and enable all users to view the donations allocated to non-governmental organizations by public institutions.
The discussion continued with questions from the attendees, allowing for further exchange of ideas and specific proposals for enhancing future cooperation.
