Online platform for building open and inclusive society in Kosovo

The overall objective of the project is to facilitate inter-ethnic cooperation among communities in Kosovo, through a tailor-made online platform for the Office of Community Affairs and support to representatives of non-majority communities.

Supported by IOM and the British Embassy in Kosovo

The implementation of the project will be divided into several phases:

Phase 1: Mobilization and consultation with the representatives of the communities in Kosovo and central-level institutions;

Phase 2: Design and creation of the multipurpose platform which will serve as an intermediary between communities and central-level institutions;

Phase 3: Outreach to communities and facilitation of the Dialogue amongst central-level institutions and community representatives

Specific Objectives:

SO 1: To include representatives of the non-majority communities in gathering the needs of every particular community in Kosovo;

SO2: To incorporate the needs and recommendations into the online platform which will serve every community in Kosovo;

SO 3: To raise the public awareness on the importance of cooperation across ethnic lines and about the work of the Office of Community Affairs and about platform as an available mechanism for cooperation and for resolving issues;

SO 4: To facilitate cooperation of community leaders and assist them in formulation of their needs and cooperation with the Office of Community Affairs.
