To mark International Human Rights Day, the NGO ACDC organized an event in South Mitrovica.
The educational street action aimed to disseminate information and spread awareness of the UDHR, a fundamental guide for the protection of human rights, and the role and competencies of the Ombudsperson Institution in the advancement and protection of human rights and freedoms.
The action provided an opportunity for citizens to inform themselves about their fundamental rights and learn about the work of the Ombudsperson and how to file a complaint if their rights have been violated.
The activity was carried out within the UNMIK-funded project "Further Support to Access to Justice and Human Rights in the Mitrovica Region".
