Kick-off Multi-Stakeholders Meeting - 29.08.2025
Advocacy Center for Democratic Culture (ACDC) and Reconciliation Empowering Communities (REC) invite you to the kick-off multi-stakeholders meeting of the project Together for Clean Rivers.
This joint initiative seeks to improve the quality of water resources and strengthen environmental governance in multiethnic communities across northern Kosovo. Our focus will be on the river flows connecting North and South Mitrovica, Zvečan, Zubin Potok, and Leposavić, fostering cooperation and shared responsibility for their preservation.
The activity will bring together representatives from institutions, civil society organizations, academia, the media, and local communities. Youth and volunteers will play a central role, contributing to river protection and intergenerational environmental responsibility through awareness campaigns, clean-up actions, and environmental monitoring.
During the event, we will present the project's goals, methodology, and planned activities, and explore opportunities for collective action, because cleaner rivers mean a more sustainable future for all of us.
The event will take place on August 29, 2025, from 11:00 to 13:30 at EU Info House, North Mitrovica.
This grant is funded by the Integrated Water Resources Management in Kosovo (IWRM-K), a Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC) and Government of Kosovo Program, implemented by Skat Consulting Ltd. (Switzerland) in consortium with the Environment Agency Austria (EAA).
