Within the project "Monitoring of Judicial Reform in Northern Kosovo", ACDC  conducted a research on the topic of "Citizens of North Kosovo about the Agreement on the Judiciary – expectations and concerns". Aim of the project is monitoring Brussels agreement and his approximation to population to which the agreement directly refers, Miloš Kabasic project manager said today in Zubin Potok. Miloš Kabasic while presenting the results on the research also said that "Aim of this project is the involvement of citizens, non-governmental sector and Law Students in monitoring the process of implementation of Brussels Agreement on Judiciary. This research was conducted in all four Municipalities on the North Kosovo." He adds that this survey gave picture of how much citizens in this part of Kosovo knows about this topic.

According to the results on a research, majority of respondents considers that Brussels Agreement on Judiciary is signed in order to confirm independence of Kosovo, that signing of an agreement has not improved life of citizens nor drastically repair situation when it comes to respect basic civil rights. Also very large percentage of participants in research said that does not support Agreement on the Judiciary in fully. Research has shown and that very low percent of citizens actively follows process of negotiations between Belgrade and Pristina in Brussels. Majority of citizens negotiation process follows partially and trough the medias.

It is surprising that so large percentage of people from this region on the questions about something that directly affects them , answer "do not know " or " do not care " , notes lawyer Radmila Kapetanovic who was panelist at today's round table devoted to this subject . She was speaking about the results of research but also about the process of integration of the Judicial system in the framework of Kosovo`s Law, she reminded about all the difficulties that the process is being followed. “In these negotiation processes in Brussels, it is necessary to engage people from this area “says Kapetanovic .
