Roundtable discussion 26th February 2025. - CEC Civil Energy Center North Mitrovica - 11.00 – 13.30
NGO Advocacy Center for Democratic Culture cordially invites you to participate in a roundtable discussion on human rights between the Deputy Ombudsperson, Mr. Niman Hajdari, general director at the civil registration agency Mr. Blerim Camaj, deputy police director Mr. Veton Elshani and the representatives of the civil society organizations from the Mitrovica region.
The discussion aims to facilitate dialogue among institutions, civil society, and affected communities to address key concerns and enhance collaboration on documentation-related issues.
This roundtable is being organized in response to the decision of the Kosovo Ministry of Internal Affairs, which adopted a decision allowing citizens who registered data on their civil status (birth, marriage and/or death) in Serbian parallel structures during the period from June 10, 1999 until the entry into force of this decision - to apply for the registration of the same data in the Central Register of Civil Status of Kosovo.
