From February 21 to 23, 2025, the first youth camp of this new cycle was held in Prizren, gathering young people from diverse communities in a three-day program focused on improving language skills and strengthening mutual understanding.

A Dynamic Program and Cultural Visit

During the camp, participants developed teamwork skills and strengthened their relationships through group activities. The event began with interactive language sessions using the VOCUP methodology, facilitating effective communication and cultural exchange among attendees. The evening program included social games that encouraged strategic thinking and teamwork, as well as film screenings that sparked discussions on topics relevant to youth.

In addition to interactive workshops, participants had the opportunity to explore the cultural richness of Prizren. They visited the city's historic center, the Sinan Pasha Mosque, and the Church of St. George, gaining insight into the rich traditions and multicultural heritage of this unique city.

Continuation of Youth Camps

ACDC will continue organizing youth camps in the coming months, providing young people across Kosovo with opportunities to develop their language skills, enhance communication, and strengthen mutual understanding. These camps are designed not only to improve linguistic abilities but also to promote values such as cooperation, inclusion, and social cohesion.

This program is part of the "Youth Empowered through Inclusive Schools and Societies (YESS)" project, funded by the UN Secretary-General's Peacebuilding Fund and implemented by UNICEF and IOM Kosovo.
