ACDC Organized Training on the Prevention of Sexual Harassment and Gender-Based Violence

As part of ongoing efforts to strengthen institutional capacities, on October 31, NGO ACDC in North Mitrovica organized a training dedicated to recognizing, effectively responding to, and preventing cases of sexual harassment and gender-based violence.

The training gathered representatives from the police, Police Inspectorate, court, prosecution, and civil society, with the goal of strengthening cooperation and sharing experiences in providing support to victims.

The session was led by Enver Fejzullahu, Executive Director of the Kosovo Justice Academy, who discussed with participants institutional responses, ethical standards, and the enhancement of inter-institutional cooperation in combating gender-based violence.

Vlera Rexha, representative of CFLI, the fund supporting the implementation of the project “Breaking the Silence: Combating Sexual Harassment and Gender-Based Violence in North Kosovo” implemented by NGO ACDC, also addressed the participants.
