Cleaning action in North Mitrovica

We are taking action for a greener future by cleaning the riverbanks in North Mitrovica and raising awareness about environmental protection.

NGO ACDC organized a riverbank cleanup where volunteers gathered to remove waste from the riverbanks, contributing to the preservation of the area's natural beauty and environmental protection.

This initiative also aimed to raise public awareness about the importance of safeguarding rivers as precious water resources and public spaces.

The initiative is part of the "Strengthening the environmental awareness in northern Kosovo" project, implemented within the program “Integrated Water Resources Management in Kosovo” (IWRM-K), funded by the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC), and implemented by Skat Consulting Ltd. (Switzerland) in consortium with the Environment Agency Austria (EAA).
