Conference Situation in Correctional Institutions in Kosovo 28th May 2026.
The NGO Advocacy Center for Democratic Culture (ACDC), in cooperation with the Ombudsperson Institution of Kosovo, cordially invites you to participate in a conference on the situation in correctional institutions in Kosovo.
The conference will bring together representatives of institutions, civil society organizations, independent mechanisms, and other relevant stakeholders to discuss the current conditions, challenges, and the protection of human rights within correctional institutions in Kosovo. Special attention will be given to the treatment of detainees and prisoners, institutional accountability, living conditions, access to healthcare, rehabilitation, and respect for fundamental human rights standards.
The event aims to create an open platform for dialogue and exchange of experiences between institutions and civil society, while also identifying practical recommendations for improving the situation in correctional facilities. The conference will provide an opportunity to strengthen cooperation among relevant actors and contribute to ongoing efforts toward a more transparent, accountable, and rights based correctional system in Kosovo.

The discussion will take place on 28th May 2026 in Hotel Sirius, Pristina, starting at 11 am Translation into Serbian, Albanian and English language will be provided.
