NGO Advocacy Center for Democratic Culture cordially invites you to participate in a conference on free legal aid in the north of Kosovo. The conference aims to advance access to justice in northern Kosovo and to showcase the work of the Agency for Free Legal Aid (AFLA), and the range of services it offers, focusing on how citizens can access its services. Special emphasis will be placed on the role of AFLA and the significance of free legal aid services in the north. The conference will also present the most common cases addressed by the Agency for Free Legal Aid (AFLA) in North Mitrovica, along with the challenges and problems it faces.
In addition, the conference will highlight the importance of an institutional approach, and legal challenges surrounding Free Legal Aid and promote Free Legal Aid as a protective mechanism of human rights.
The conference will take place on 19th October on the premises of NGO ACDC (Cika Jovina 3, North City Center, North Mitrovica), starting at 11 a.m.
