Increasing the level of administrative functionality of four municipalities in northern Kosovo

NGO Advocacy Center for Democratic Culture (ACDC), is implementing a project “Increasing the level of administrative functionality of four municipalities in northern Kosovo”. This project is supported by GIZ-LARP project.

NGO ACDC will implement activities which will improve work of municipal administration and assess the needs for municipal service delivery in selected municipalities, according to the financial, technical, administrative and social capabilities of the municipalities.

Overall objective of this project is to increase the level of administrative functionality of four municipalities in northern Kosovo, through planed activities and assess the needs for improvement of municipal services.

Specific objectives are:

- to increase functionality of administrative personnel;

-to improve cooperation between Kosovo municipalities;  

-to assess needs of municipalities for future improvements of services.

The results we want to achieve by this project are:

-Administrative personnel of four northern municipalities improved level of functionality, trough knowing best practices of other Kosovo municipalities.

-Cooperation between Kosovo municipalities is increased by established contacts among colleagues from different parts of Kosovo, which will give opportunity for exchange of information needed for beater functionality of municipal services.

-Needs assessment is conducted in four northern municipalities, with concrete plan of trainings needed for beater functionality of municipalities.

The implementation of the project started on September 3th and ends on December 31st, 2018.
