Within the project “Establishment of effective cooperation between CSO-s with Court presidents and Chief Prosecutors and promotion of legal aid services”, on the 2nd of December 2021, ACDC organized an activity entitled Mobile legal clinic and installed a booth in North Mitrovica, where the citizens had the opportunity to inform about using Free Legal Aid for the victims of domestic and gender-based violence. Besides the informative part, this booth had also a counseling role because it showed the citizens about mechanisms for the prevention of domestic and gender-based violence and how to react to it.

The activity was attended by the representatives of Prosecution, social services-department for domestic violence, protector of citizens at the Prosecutor's office as well as representatives of Free Legal Aid. Citizens were given flyers on how to use Free Legal Aid.
This one-day activity will be continued in other municipalities in Kosovo with the aim to increase citizens’ awareness of the importance of prevention and action against domestic and gender-based violence with an overarching goal to protect women as the most vulnerable group.
The project is implemented by the Center for Legal Aid and Regional Development CLARD, in cooperation with Kosovo Law Institute and NGO Advocacy Center for Democratic Culture ACDC.
