NGO ACDC organized a courtroom inauguration at the Basic Court of Mitrovica
On 21 April 2021 NGO ACDC organized the inauguration of the courtroom at the Basic Court of Mitrovica courthouse in South Mitrovica, as part of the project supported by UNMIK and implemented by NGO ACDC. The courtroom, fully renovated, furnished and equipped with UNMIK programmatic funds, was officially inaugurated by UNMIK DSRSG Ms. Barrie Freeman and the President of the court Mr. Nikola Kabasic.

DSRSG Freeman expressed happiness for the inauguration of a third courtroom in Mitrovica, supported by UNMIK, and recognized the efforts by the court president and his colleagues to provide equal access to justice for all. The court president Kabašić thanked UNMIK for the continuous support, especially in terms of engaging translators to ensure the bilingualism in the work of the court. Both Ms.Freeman and Mr. Kabašić praised the work and devotion by NGO ACDC.
In addition to the mentioned parties, the event was also attended by the representatives of OSCE, EULEX and USAID/Chemonics, as well as judges and court staff. The event was organized in compliance with measures and recommendations against COVID-19.
