Roundtable Discussion on Human Rights and the Position of Non-Majority Communities in Northern Kosovo Held in North Mitrovica



With the aim of strengthening dialogue and improving the protection of human rights of non-majority communities in northern Kosovo, a roundtable discussion dedicated to the challenges faced by these communities was held on May 26 at the NGO ACDC office in North Mitrovica.

A roundtable discussion on human rights and the position of non-majority communities in northern Kosovo was held at the NGO ACDC office in North Mitrovica, attended by representatives of non-majority communities from northern Kosovo, including Albanian, Roma, Gorani, and other communities, as well as representatives of the Ombudsperson Institution.

During the discussion, participants addressed the challenges faced by these communities, with a particular focus on access to rights and institutions, institutional representation, social inclusion, and everyday security.

The roundtable discussion was organized within the project “Building Trust through Human Rights”, implemented by NGO ACDC.
