Roundtable on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities from the Serbian Community in Gračanica / Graçanicë

At the roundtable organized by ACDC on May 27, 2025, in Gračanica / Graçanicë, Ombudsperson Naim Qelaj met with representatives of organizations working with persons with disabilities from the Serbian community.

Also present at the event were: Dušan Radaković, Executive Director of ACDC; Srđan Sentić, Deputy Ombudsperson; and Afrim Maliqi, Executive Director of HandiKos.

Key topics included access to rights, employment, legal translations, and community involvement in policymaking. Participants stressed the lack of Serbian representation in the National Disability Council, along with issues in education, social protection, and access to services.

ACDC continues to connect institutions and communities to promote human rights.
