Seminar on strategic aspects of cooperation between CSOs and the Ombudsperson Institution
From May 3rd to 5th, 2023, a three-day seminar was organized in Durres, Albania, with the aim of strengthening strategic cooperation between Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) and the Ombudsperson Institution. The event served as a platform for the participants to engage in insightful discussions, prioritize activities, and develop an action plan for 2023.

The event served as a platform for the participants to engage in insightful discussions, prioritize activities, and develop an action plan for 2023.
The first day of the seminar was focused on discussing the work plan and methodology, laying the groundwork for the rest of the seminar. The second day was dedicated to determining priority activities and topics for implementation while the third and final day of the seminar, the participants worked together to finalize the work plan document, incorporating the insights and ideas generated during the previous two days of discussions.
Through fruitful discussions, the seminar has helped to enhance the capacity of CSOs and the Ombudsperson Institution in engaging in effective dialogue and cooperation. The work plan developed during the seminar will serve as a roadmap to guide the activities of the Forum for Dialogue of the Ombudsperson Institutions and Civil Society Organizations for this year, enabling them to work together more efficiently towards their common goals.
Organisations that are members of the Forum for Dialogue of the Ombudsperson Institutions and Civil Society Organizations participated at the seminar.. The aim of the Forum is to achieve close cooperation in the field of identifying challenges and human rights violations in Kosovo, as well as developing joint activities aimed at promoting and protecting human rights in Kosovo.
The seminar was organized within the UNMIK-funded project "Further support to access to justice and human rights in the Mitrovica region", and implemented by NGO ACDC.
