Vacancy Announcement for Project Manager Kosovo North - CSSP

Who we are:

CSSP Berlin Center for Integrative Mediation is a non-governmental organisation working in the field of mediation. The organisation has been active in Kosovo since 2005. Its main office is in Berlin, Germany.

Currently, CSSP is running a mediation center in Mitrovica with offices in the Southern and the Northern parts of the city. In addition, CSSP works with municipalities and local stakeholders to support them with trainings, consultancy and mediation in the development of their municipalities.

Who we are looking for:

CSSP is looking for a project manager to work mainly in the municipalities of Mitrovica North, Zubin Potok, Leposavic and Zvecan. The project manager will be responsible for establishing contact with representatives of the municipalities, municipal bodies and citizen representatives. He/she will present CSSP’s work and consult with local stakeholders about needs and conflictive issues within the municipalities. He/she will work closely with and under the direct supervision of

the project managers from the main office in Berlin to plan and implement consultations, trainings and activities in the four municipalities.

Qualifications needed:

• University diploma
• Kosovo ID card
• Driver’s licence
• Experience in project management
• Experience with mediation or alternative dispute resolution techniques is desirable
• Experience in dealing with municipal representatives and bodies
• Excellent communication skills
• Very good organisational skills
• Wide network of local stakeholders in the Northern municipalities
• Sound knowledge of Serbian and English
• Willingness to work closely with members of all communities
• Flexibility, creativity, team spirit

What CSSP offers you:

The position is a full time position of 40h/week. It is financed until 31.12.2016. Depending on the approval of funds from the donor organisation, CSSP plans to extend the position for a further twelve months. The desired starting date is 01.02.2016.
