As a continuation of youth initiatives that promote intercultural dialogue, joint learning, and mutual trust, another camp was organized in early November within the project “Together for Tomorrow: Youth Initiative in Kosovo”, bringing together young people from different municipalities across Kosovo to encourage cooperation and intercultural understanding.
Participants had the opportunity to visit the Observatory in Pristina, where they observed the Moon and planets live through telescopes, learning about the basics of astronomy and space in a practical and engaging way. This experience combined science and adventure, sparking curiosity and interest in natural sciences and the exploration of the universe.

In addition, the youth visited the Bear Sanctuary near Gračanica, where they learned more about animal protection and the importance of preserving nature. The activities also included a visit to the Gračanica Monastery, one of the most significant cultural and religious landmarks in Kosovo, as well as hikes along mountain trails, through which participants discovered the natural and cultural richness of the region.

Through activities that connect science, nature, and culture, young people from different communities build friendships, foster a sense of unity, and develop responsibility towards the society in which they live.
The activity was implemented within the project “Youth Empowered through Inclusive Schools and Societies (YESS)”, funded by the UN Secretary-General’s Peacebuilding Fund and implemented by UNICEF and IOM Kosovo.
