ACDC Implemented the project supported by European Union Office in Kosovo

NGO ACDC, under the EUSR programme and through operations funded by European Union Office in Kosovo (EUOiK) as well as with the support of the partners and stakeholders in project, during the period of June 08, 2010 to June 29, 2018, has implemented the project ''PROVISION OF SERVICES TO IMPROVE COOPERATION AND UNDERSTANDING OF THE YOUTH CIVIL SOCIETY ORGANIZATIONS (CSOs) FROM THE NORTH AND SOUTH OF THE RIVER IBAR'' and has achieved the following results:

NGO ACDC, under the EUSR programme and through operations funded by European Union Office in Kosovo (EUOiK) as well as with the support of the partners and stakeholders in project, during the period of June 08, 2010 to June 29, 2018, has implemented the project “PROVISION OF SERVICES TO IMPROVE COOPERATION AND UNDERSTANDING OF THE YOUTH CIVIL SOCIETY ORGANIZATIONS (CSOs) FROM THE NORTH AND SOUTH OF THE RIVER IBAR” and  has achieved the following results:

 

  • Implemented four (4) debates as two in Mitrovica north and two in the south Mitrovica.
  • Provided opportunity to all participants to better understand the issues on improvement of lives of young generation at the grassroots level,
  • Created comfortable and relaxed atmosphere during the debates after providing explanations on many topics which were generating fear and anxiety among two communities,
  • Established local communication through informal discussions on Youth activism involving CSOs from the Mitrovica region,
  • Established initiative on creation of network of local interlocutors and stakeholders.
  • As a final output of the project a policy paper is prepared by the organizational expert. The policy paper outlines the key challenges, needs and aspirations of the youth in Mitrovica region, recognised by the participants of the four debates. Also, the policy paper provides recommendations to the respective institutions, local and central level, about the ways to enhance the support for the young generation in Mitrovica Region.
