Research presentation - The position of women in the northern Kosovo



On July 14, NGO ACDC organized public discussion as part of the project "Women for Women - United in power". The research that aimed to examine the perception of women from the north of Kosovo about their position in society and their inclusion in public life was presented.

On July 14, NGO ACDC organized public discussion as part of the project "Women for Women - United in power". The research that aimed to examine the perception of women from the north of Kosovo about their position in society and their inclusion in public life was presented.

The main goal of this research was to analyze the position of women in Kosovo, as well as to thoroughly present how much success we, as a society, have achieved in overcoming gender stereotypes and barriers. 

In addition to the research results, recommendations that could affect the improvement of the position of women, as well as ways to overcome gender stereotypes and barriers, were also discussed. The panelits were Blagica Radovanović, NGO Santa Marija, Biljana Milošević Jaredić, Doctor of Clinical Psychology & Head of the Department of Psychology at the Faculty of Philosophy and Ines Aljović Mihajlović, project officer at NGO ACDC.
