Call for Participation in the New Series of Youth Camps

Following the successfully organized weekend camps during the fall of 2024, the NGO ACDC invites young people aged 13 to 18 from various ethnic communities in Kosovo to apply for a new series of camps, which offer opportunities for enhancing language and communication skills, as well as promoting social cohesion, collaboration, and intercultural understanding among youth.

The camps are implemented within the framework of the YESS project (Youth Empowered through Inclusive Schools and Societies), funded by the UN Secretary-General’s Peacebuilding Fund, and are carried out in cooperation with UNICEF and IOM.

Details:

The camps will be held at various locations across Kosovo.
The first camp is scheduled for February 2025, with additional sessions in April and May 2025.
All participants will be accommodated in hotels with full board.
The program includes language workshops, team work, and various attractive activities for developing friendships and cooperation.

Participation conditions and criteria:

Applications are encouraged from young people (aged 13–18), with a special emphasis on girls and youth from different communities.
Youth should be from the project's pilot municipalities (Gračanica/e, Gjilan/Gnjilane, Kamenice/a, Obiliq/c, North Mitrovica, South Mitrovica, Zubin Potok, Prizren, Štrpce/Shterpce, Dragash/Dragaš and Lipjan/Lipljan)
Desire to learn about different cultures and languages.
Readiness for cooperation and teamwork with peers from different ethnic communities.
